Certified Academies
Preparing for the examination
Our examinations are open to all who meet the entry requirements, and may be prepared for through independent study.
International protocol, however, is a scholarly discipline built on long accumulation. For those pursuing the higher grades, or specialist accreditation, we recommend preparing through systematic study.
The association certifies institutions whose teaching and standards meet an international standard as Certified Academies, and recommends them to candidates as a course of preparation.
Systematic study is the surer path
A scholarly foundation
International protocol is rooted in history, diplomatic studies, behavioural science and cross-cultural theory. A systematic curriculum builds not rote memory, but practical judgement grounded in understanding.
The value of practical instruction
For those pursuing specialist accreditation, a practical assessment is set alongside the written paper. Instruction from experienced teachers is difficult to replace through study alone.
A bridge to practice
Instruction directed at professional practice after accreditation carries you beyond passing the examination, to competence that serves in international work from the first.
Our certified academies
The institutions we certify meet an international standard in both their teaching and their conduct.
